Who are we

Further Asia was born out of a collaboration between tourism professionals who share a common passion: travel, of course. But it is a committed form of travel, mindful of respect for local populations, the social and political constraints of each country, and the sustainability of our fragile ecosystems, which they strive to develop in order to create a virtuous circle.
In a world where nations are sometimes divided and individualism is on the rise, we need to rebuild social ties, sharing, and knowledge. Social media has developed very quickly, opening up new perspectives and new horizons, but it has also isolated so many people.
The health crisis in 2020 showed how much we need contact, to discover others, to venture into the unknown. Travel is a perfect ambassador for this.

Traveling, of course, but not at any price. We see that the tourism industry is capable of both the best and the worst. We have seen natural areas degraded by mass tourism, populations left behind in the trickle-down effects of the profits generated by this industry. Travelers are also involved in some of the most noble causes; in certain countries where poaching of endangered species is rampant, the introduction of luxury tourism has diverted these illegal activities towards the preservation of a cause that was thought to be lost.
